Located right in the heart of Montreal, Cordonnerie La Cité is where locals go when their shoes – or bags – need real fixin’. Bay Joe runs the place with care, and yeah, he’s the one who still cleans and repairs winter boots, designer sandals, and them good old everyday sneakers.

They do a bunch of stuff. From heel repair to Birkenstock sole replacement, Richelieu shoe repair to Celine Luco tassel loafer restoration. You name it – they probly done it. Even cowboy boots and Blundstone ain’t a problem here. Cleanin’, polishin’, gluein’ – it’s all done by hand, like back in the day.
